Ferrous and non-ferrous scrap
We trade ferrous scrap such as heavy melting steel (HMS 1&2) and shredded scrap, as well as non-ferrous metals including copper, aluminium and brass scrap. Grades are defined according to internationally recognised specifications and verified by pre-shipment inspection.
Metallurgical coal
Metallurgical or coking coal is a key input for blast-furnace steelmaking. We supply coking coal and related grades such as PCI coal to steel producers, with quality parameters including ash, volatile matter, sulphur and coke strength agreed per contract.
Ores and mineral resources
Our minerals activity covers iron ore and other mineral ores and raw materials for processing and industrial use. Each transaction is structured around grade, moisture, lot size and the logistics chain from mine or port to the buyer’s plant.
Compliance
SOTACO works only with qualified commercial counterparties. All transactions are subject to satisfactory KYC/AML checks, compliance with applicable sanctions and export control laws, and a separate written agreement. More information is available in our legal notice.
